JCJO Went Above and Beyond!

JCJO was by far the best band we could have asked for to perform at our wedding. Everyone had a wonderful time, and they kept the crowd dancing from the first song to the very last one! From the extremely professional audition prior to selecting this band to the song selection specifically chosen for each component of the evening and their versatility in letting our friends perform for portions of the band break, JCJO went above and beyond to make this a special evening for us. It particularly stood out to me that, despite not being a typical part of their repertoire, JCJO went above and beyond to learn our college fight song as well as songs for our first dance and our father-daughter dance. This performance was everything we could have hoped for!

My wife and I could not have been happier with Jump City's services. From the time I initially spoke with Keith about ideas for music at our wedding until the big day itself, everyone at Jump City was pleasant, professional, and extremely helpful.

The band took the time to learn the songs for our first dance and for the father/daughter and mother/son dances. Beyond that, we were more than willing to let the group choose which songs to play, and the band leaders did a fantastic job of selecting the appropriate music for each phase of the event.

Jump City also did an excellent job of ensuring that the level of sound appropriately matched each phase of our wedding. This was not an easy task given the size and layout of the room in which the event was held.

They MADE the party!

We were SO happy to have Jump City as our wedding entertainment and continue to receive compliments on their performance. We can honestly say that they MADE the party!

The energy from the band translated directly to our guests - something that was apparent when they did our big introduction. As soon as we started greeting guests, they immediately complimented the band and asked where we found them.

Working with Jump City was great! Their coordinator, Keith was always available to discuss plans, no matter how far away the event was. We sent them a list of songs we were curious if they could play, and again, we were impressed to learn most were in their repertoire. We were also delighted to hear them perform a new song..."Happy" by Pharrell Williams! Jump City, of course, performed it Better! Finally, I was absolutely delighted to learn the band could play our first dance song (Stay with You by John Legend). Their performance of it is something I will always remember.

I cannot wait to watch all of the dancing our videographer captured-swing, conga line, jitterbug-everything. What a memorable day.

It's hard to put into words how great their performance was... Our guests loved every moment and were extremely impressed. Keith is the best master of ceremonies I've ever seen and can sing anything. He went over & above helping out with instruction for cake cutting to offering his hand to help me down the spiral staircase. The entire group was enthusiastic and extremely talented. Every song was spot on-- I wish my feet didn't hurt, I hated taking a break from dancing. A special thank you for letting my Father play along with the band. He was on cloud 9 -it was a moment none of us will soon forget. Our sincere thanks.

We auditioned several bands before meeting with Jump City Jazz Orchestra (JCJO) for our wedding. We knew in 5 seconds that this was the band for us. It was simply amazing. Fast forward 10 months to our wedding date at the Society Hill Sheraton. The sound and performance were outstanding. People were hysterical at how great JCJO was. The dance floor was packed for most of the night. We constantly received compliments from our family and friends in attendance on how great the band was and many admitted that our wedding was the best one ever attended in their lives. In large part this was due to JCJO. My bride and I are so glad that we hired JCJO. What a way to launch our new lives together!

As a musician myself, the band was the most important planning aspect of my wedding and I was nervous that I would not find a band that fit my old movie, maybe unrealistic dream...especially on a budget! The harmonies and so tight, the singers are fabulous, the sound engineer makes the huge band seem perfectly suited to the space, and everything just seemed so smooth and effortless! My husband Jeff & I hired Jump City Jazz Orchestra for our June 2010 wedding knowing they were the only choice for us and our event. We were looking for live entertainment with a big band sound, and having known the lead vocalists for over 10 years, knew they could deliver for us. We hoped that our guests would enjoy them as much as we do. No worries there! All we heard from our guests was, ... and the BAND is FANTASTIC! Where did you find them?

From our initial contact via Jump City Music's web site through the evening of our event, our communications with the group were of a number and level of professionalism we never experienced before. All our questions, concerns, and worries were addressed promptly and fully. As for the music the night of the event, there are insufficient superlatives to describe how pleased we were with Jump City Music's performance!

Looking a a fantastic big band? If so, this is the band. The band was quite flexible in accomodating our wedding reception schedule. You can't beat the sound of this band. As the evening progressed the music selection changed to a more contemporary wedding reception style music. This worked great as we had guests who preferred both styles. The band's business manager was fantastic.

Incredible group. Complete professionals from start to finish, not too loud, got everyone on dance floor and played not only swing but soul, motown, and jazz.
